Q. Can you give an approximate weekly time investment necessary to successfully complete the course? Approximately how much time is needed to complete homework assignments?
A. This is a four credit hour course, which meets 4 times a week on-campus. The rule-of-thumb is one hour of outside class work for every hour in class. So that would suggest 8 hours a week minimum for success in the course. The chat session will account for one and the on-line lectures for about 3 hours. The rest of the time is for reading, assignments and study.

Q. How long do you predict chat sessions will last?
A. The chat sessions will run an hour in length.

Q. Are the chat times mandatory?
A. Yes.

Q. Do you have an approximation of when the chat times will be conducted? Will they conflict with my sports schedule?
A. There will be more than one session each week to accommodate students and make the size of the group smaller. The students will meet with the TA for the course who will ask questions and answer questions.
