Dr. Foster
is Associate Professor in the Department of Chemistry. She
is the content expert in Chemistry and has been a member
of the Lehigh faculty since 1985. She has taught courses
at the undergraduate level in: Introductory Chemistry, the
Organic Chemistry Laboratory, Technical Writing and in the
Advanced Organic Analysis Laboratory, and at the graduate
level she has taught Spectral Analysis and Medicinal Chemistry.
Dr. Foster is currently working on a freshman chemistry
textbook with David Lavallee, Provost at SUNY New Paltz.
Her research interests include studies of intermolecular
interactions relating to the development and analysis of
candidate compounds for use as contrast enhancement agents
for Magnetic Resonance Imaging.
