Prospective Students

This year, students will be offered the opportunity to enroll in Web-based sections of Chemistry I, Engineering I, or English I free of charge. Each Clipper course is credit-bearing and is taught by a Lehigh faculty member. Students are expected to satisfy the same requirements as those in the traditional sections of each course.

If you are a high school student and have been accepted early decision to Lehigh University, you are eligible to take a Clipper course. You should receive a packet in the mail in December 2003. After you have read all the information enclosed, fill out and return the proper forms in the envelope provided.

If you have not received a packet in the mail by December 29th, please contact the Clipper Office and we will send you the information you need.

As a participant in the study, you will be asked to complete several questionnaires regarding the effectiveness of the instruction you receive in the course as well as your academic interests and behaviors. Your willingness to participate allows us to collect your overall course grade, scores on course exams and projects, and final grades in other courses taken as an undergraduate. All information collected will remain confidential and no names or identifying information will appear in published results from this project. We estimate that completion of all evaluation measures will require a total of two hours of your time.

In addition to taking a Lehigh course free of charge, you will receive a $50 University bookstore gift certificate upon completion of all evaluation questionnaires.
